I determine if Smooth Freight services a particular destination?
Our Points of Service indicates all Manitoba points serviced
by
Smooth Freight. All freight pick up by Smooth Freight for
Manitoba destinations is handled solely by ourselves. We
DO NOT interline any of our freight with any other carrier.
Should you have any questions about our points serviced, our
terminals would be more than happy to help you!
Does
Smooth Freight service provinces other than Manitoba?
No, Smooth Freight is strictly Manitoba only, however, we do
interline
freight with several larger carriers that service both Canada
and the United States.
How do
I calculate my shipments dimensional weight?
Dimensional weight is calculated as follows:
length X width X height of shipment (in
inches) divided by 1,728 x 1.5 =

How do
I obtain a proof of delivery?
Please call or e-mail POD requests to one of the two
terminals.
Does
Smooth Freight transport Dangerous Goods?
Smooth Freight does transport dangerous goods in strict
accordance with
the appropriate regulations in effect throughout Canada.
Our operational
employees are knowledgeable on prcedures regarding the
transporting of
dangerous goods, and are more than willing to help with any
questions.
It is important to note that the Shipper is responsible for
classifying,
documenting, packaging and labeling dangerous goods.
Does
Smooth Freight provide any service other than dry vans?
Yes. We also offer, heat/refrigeration, flat deck,
curtain sided trailer, and tail lift services. Please call
for rates.
